How do time points work?

Time points are 'pegs in the ground' to allow you to filter your club's invoices as you wish, but this also affects a player's current payment status.

The current payment status of a member (the traffic light on member pages) is based on the most recent time point.

So, if your latest time point is 1 Sep 2014, your members' statuses will be based on all invoices due from that date. 

If you create a later time point, like 1 Sep 2015, your members' traffic lights will be based on that date.

Most clubs will want to have time points for whole seasons.

But you can add and remove time points as you wish, which gives you complete flexibility.
